Salaam. I am so glad you found your way here.

I want to share something before I tell you about my credentials or work. There was a season of my life when I was barely holding on. I was overwhelmed, anxious, and quietly falling apart on the inside while keeping everything together on the outside. My marriage was strained. My identity as a woman felt lost somewhere between the demands of motherhood and the noise of the world around me. And the advice I was receiving—from friends, from online spaces, from the culture—was making things worse, not better.

What saved me was not a program or a course or a motivational speaker. It was a slow, painful, beautiful return to Allah SWT. To tahajjud in the dark when the house was quiet. To istikhara when I did not know which way to turn. To the Quran, which held me in ways I cannot fully articulate. And to the wisdom of our deen, which, when I finally stopped resisting it and started submitting to it, began to put my life back together piece by piece.

Alhamdulillah, I came through. And everything I now share with Muslim women—every word I write, every session I offer—comes from that journey. Not from theory. From lived experience, deep faith, and the genuine wish that your path be a little easier than mine was.

Who I am

I am Zakeeya Ali—wife of over 26 years, mother of six, homeschooler, author, and mentor to Muslim women worldwide. I launched this website in 2011 when there were very few online spaces offering Islamic guidance for women on marriage, motherhood, and everyday life. What began as sharing my own journey quietly grew into a global platform, alhamdulillah, serving sisters across every continent.

My professional background is in psychology, sociology, and education. I have spent two decades studying marriage, gender communication, relationships, parenting, and personal development, alongside a lifelong commitment to Islamic studies, Tibb-e-Nabawi (Prophetic health), and naturopathy. In 2011, I was among the first professional Muslim mentors for women online.

But more than any credential, what qualifies me to sit with you in your struggles is that I have been in them. I have felt the resentment, the exhaustion, the confusion, and the loneliness that so many Muslim wives and mothers carry quietly. And I have found my way through, with Allah’s mercy, beneficial knowledge, and the willingness to do the hard inner work.

Many sisters describe my naseeha as ‘life-changing’ and ‘eye-opening.’ But what moves me most is when a woman says, "I wish I had found this sooner.” That is exactly why I keep writing and why I keep showing up.

My work

My writing began with homeschooling—creating Islamic educational resources for my own children, then sharing them with other mothers who needed the same. Over the years, that small act of service grew into a full body of work for Muslim women. To date, I have published:

✶  32+ children’s Islamic workbooks

✶  Various ebooks on wifehood, motherhood, faith, and homemaking

✶  3 paperback books, including Tranquil Muslim Mom

✶  25+ Muslim Journals for spiritual growth (muslimjournals.com)

✶  The Tranquil Wife Workbook—my newest release

My Tranquil Book Series includes Tranquil Muslim Mom, Tranquil Muslim Mom Reflection Journal, and The Tranquil Wife Workbook. Forthcoming titles in 2026 include Tranquil Muslim Lady, Tranquil Muslima, Tranquil Muslim Homemaker, Tranquil Muslim Teen, and Tranquil Muslim Homeschooler, inshallah.

Private mentoring

For over 20 years, I have been sitting privately with Muslim women—wives struggling in their marriages, mothers losing themselves in the demands of parenting, singles trying to navigate the path toward a healthy Islamic marriage, and women building their own businesses from home. Hundreds of sisters worldwide, alhamdulillah.

My mentoring is not therapy, and it is not generic life coaching. It is faith-rooted, experience-backed, and deeply personal. I meet each woman where she is, with honesty and without judgment, and I help her find the clarity and tools she needs to move forward.

Sessions are private, conducted via Google Meet, and rooted entirely in Islamic values and the fitrah nature of women. I offer mentoring for wives and singles, for mothers, and for work-at-home women building something of their own.

“She tells you what you need to hear in such a gentle and positive way — like a trusted friend who only wants the best for you.” — Miatta, UK
