Ramadan Letters of Thanks for Kids

Ramadan is an excellent time for giving extra. That's why it's a good idea to get your kids to learn how to appreciate the ones in their lives and to be grateful for them. Handing out Ramadan letters of thank you is a fantastic way for a child to express their thanks to those who help us all the time or who need to hear a thank you from us for all they do.

Being thankful teaches children to remember and be grateful for those who keep our world in order and to those who help us grow and flourish in our lives. There are so many people who deserve our appreciation but get ignored for all their strenuous efforts.

People who deserve letters of thank you:

  • Your parents

  • Your grandparents

  • Your neighbors

  • Your mail carrier

  • Your garbage collector

  • Your recycling collector

  • Your librarian

  • Your Muslim teacher

  • Your other teachers

  • Your imam

  • Your masjid caretaker

  • Your police station officers

  • Your fire station firefighters

  • Your doctors, nurses, and staff

  • Your dentists, hygienists, and staff

So let's teach our children to thank those in our community who we take for granted and show them that having good manners and etiquette is to follow in our beloved Prophet's SAW footsteps.

These kind acts can teach our children to be kind and giving towards others and serve as lessons in selflessness and dawah. Ramadan is the month of giving and sacrifice, and what a better time to start these habits in our children that they will hold on to for life, inshAllah.
